A new translation of "The Doctor" (お医者さま)

お医者さま

お医者さまは病気をみつけるのが趣味です
というのも近ごろでは何故か
病気になりたがっている人が多いからです
どこも悪くなくてぴんぴんしているのは
鈍感みたいで恥ずかしいという銀行員に
桃色と黄色と透明な薬をあげます
ひとつも病気がないというのも病気の一種だと
お医者さまは分かりやすく説明してくれます
お医者さま自身ももちろん病気です
なおらないように毎日湿布をしています

The doctor's hobby is to find diseases 
Because for some reason these days
There are many people who wish to get sick 
The Doctor gives pink, yellow, and transparent medicine
To the bank clerk who thinks being brimming over with health and vitality 
Is embarrassing and seemingly insensitive
The doctor explains in a way that's easy to understand
That the lack of disease is also a kind of disease
Of course the doctor himself is sick 
He applies a wet compress every day so that it does not heal
